Scared of Water
I do not want anyone to make fun of me but I am terrified of the ocean and the threat of hurricanes. Golfers and Breathalyzers
You have to imagine that if there are any athletes on the planet that would use breathalyzers after participating in a match or a round, it has to be golfers. The great thing about golf is that it can be the gentleman’s game, but it can also be the game of the drunkard. Take a look at John Daly. Do you remember him? He was the redneck’s hero in the sport of golf. He was overweight, drank too much, was a womanizer, and for all intents and purposes should not be considered an athlete of any sort. That said, he managed to win a few tournaments and make himself some money. I think of my friends who are golfers and the best thing for them is to be on the course with each a six pack and some sun rays. That’s actually one reason that I want to take up golf because the goal is just to not get too drunk. That’s is also the reason why breathalyzers come in handy. College and Breathalyzers
Another thing that I really miss about college is all of the beautiful women. As she explained to Bryce and I was we were leaving the first party. Anyway it is girls like this that I kind of miss hanging out around with. It is the pursuit and doing things that are awkward and you don’t totally feel awesome about but make great stories. Oh the times that should be measured with breathalyzers.
Difference Between VG-5 Steel and 440 Steel
When general steel was introduced to us, we, discovered that we can alter its existing composition to create other types of steel.
VG-5 is a type of steel that is best used for cutting tools. It is very refined which makes it ideal in cutting up objects. Unlike other types of steels, VG-5 is not that produced in bulk.
We can understand much more about VG-5 when we compare it to other types of simple steels like the 440 series.
Every type of steel has its element specifications. VG-5 is a type of steel which contains less amount of chromium compared to other types of steel. VG-5 contains only about .7 to .8 percent carbon while 440 steel got lesser average than .7 percent. Also, the chromium is only about 13 to 15 while 440 has 16 to 18 percent chromium in it.
The VG-5 is annealed with lower temperature than 440 series. The temperature of annealing VG-5 is between to 800 and 850 degrees Celsius while 440 series has 850 to 900 when annealed.
Although they differ in annealing temperature, they have the same or almost the same hardening temperature. This is the part where the steel is being cooled down, thereby hardening the steel. The steel will get hard and can have sharp usable edges which can be used in cutting objects.
The availability of both steels is not the same for some reason. The 440 series is mass produced while the VG-5 is not. The 440 series general steel can be found in your nearest hardware or on the online market. On the contrary, VG-5 is very hard to find in the market.

Brad’s Mountain Biking Accident
I was with a good friend of mine, Brad, when I had to drive him to an urgent care in Henderson. We were out on a mountain bike trail enjoying some great weather. I think there was an issue with his bike and when he fell off into a ditch I knew I’d have to get him an urgent care. Henderson is a great town for outdoor sports, and for that reason there are a lot of these clinics around. Within a few minutes I was able to get us to one of them and we didn’t even have to wait long to get Brad checked out.
He had torn up his leg pretty good, it looked to me like he’d probably need stitches. The lady at the check in counter could see he was hurt pretty badly, and I think she rushed him through. Brad told me that the doctor was very courteous and professional, and that he’d recommend the place we went to others. I asked him to show me the wound that the doctor had stitched and bandaged up and it really didn’t look that bad anymore. It’s amazing how things improve once you get the bleeding to stop.

If Brad wasn’t wearing a helmet he may have been severely injured, because he was moving very fast. We are very experienced bikers, and as you can see even we get hurt from time to time.
